The Lantern of Wisdom

In a serene village nestled between verdant hills, there lived an old sage named Arin. He was renowned for his wisdom, and people often sought his guidance on life’s perplexing questions. One day, a troubled young man named Rohan visited Arin, burdened by the weight of his worries.

Rohan lamented, “I am overwhelmed by fear and doubt. I do not know the path I should take.”

Arin listened intently and then handed Rohan a lantern. “Take this lantern,” Arin said, “and walk into the forest tonight.”

Puzzled but trusting, Rohan took the lantern and ventured into the dark forest. As he walked, the small circle of light from the lantern illuminated just a few steps ahead. Slowly, with each step forward, more of the path became clear.

The next morning, Rohan returned to the sage with a newfound clarity. Arin smiled and said, “Life is like your journey with the lantern. We often wish to see the entire path at once, but true wisdom lies in taking one step at a time, trusting that the way will reveal itself.”

With this newfound understanding, Rohan embraced his journey with confidence, knowing that each step he took was guided by the light of wisdom.
